Mustang and Focus RS to get 2.3L ecoboost engine

It’s all but confirmed that the next Focus RS will get a 2.3L ecoboost engine making 330hp. This is impressive and awesome. The RS will also have big brakes, a tuned suspension and all the other awesomeness that RS models have gotten in the past. Of course it won’t come to America.

However what might come to America is it’s 2.3L ecoboost engine. It’s no secret Ford has been wanting to drop the heavy V6 in the base model Mustang and rumors abound that it’s the 2.3L turbo making 330hp which would be a nice little upgrade to the base model Mustang. We’ll no more later in the year but for now there is something to think about.
