2014 Chevy SS

Here is the 2014 Chevy SS, in case you haven’t heard it’s Chevy’s new RWD, V8 powered family cruiser. Cutting to the chase it’s powered by a 6.3L V8 making 415hp. It’s going to do 0-60 in five seconds, and has a six speed automatic box with paddle shift. That all sounds really good to us, but….

So I have to say that the styling is quite bland. More so then I thought. Also the big gold bow tie looks a little goofy on the front. Obviously Chevy has to have the bow tie there but does it have to be so big? No word on the price yet which for me is make or brake on this car. The G8 near perfection for the price but GM says the SS is not the G8. So what is it? We’ll find out soon enough when we actually get to try one out but until then I will try and reserve judgement.

Anyway hit the jump for a shot of the interior and the full press release.

Alfa Romeo 4C

The Alfa Romeo 4c has been highly anticipated for a long time now. We can see why. Beauty like this is rare, especially in a car designed by a large car company whose job is to homogenize everything to be basically like everyone else. This is not like everyone else. This is a stunner.

Alpha Romeo 4c

Details are still a bit scant but we do know that the 4C will be powered by a 1.75L 4 cylinder engine that’s going to make 232hp. Hence the 4C. It’s also getting a six speed dual clutch transmission. It will also have a Alfa’s DNA system which allows the driver to select driving modes. We still don’t know the weight or other details like the price but those are coming very soon we hear. Of course we’ll keep you in the loop on that.

Below is the press release from Alfa
