Shelby Ford Focus ST

With the passing of Caroll Shelby last year many wondered how the company would carry on without their figure head. Well Shelby American showed up at the NAIAS in Detroit this week will all kinds of fire power. The first we will look at is the new Shelby Ford Focus ST.
Shelby ST
What you will get on Shelby Focus ST is not a power upgrade but lots of other go fast goodies. Namely bigger brakes with cross drilled rotors, a Ford Racing suspension, and a Borla exhaust. The car also features functional hood vents, a rear spoiler, and wider wheels and tires. There is some mention of an engine tuning option to bring the car up to 300hp but no mention of what that will cost.

Other costs however are mentioned, hold on to seats. The cost of all this Shelby goodness is a hair over $14,000. That of course is on top of the Focus ST’s base price of $23,700. Are you willing to pay sports car pricing for a sport compact? Well if you are hurry up to your dealer because there will be only 500 Shelby Focus ST’s.
