Six Generations of Mustang
There is no doubt the Ford Mustang is one of the most popular cars of all time. With it’s huge following and precense basically every where it is a true American icon. Classic Mustangs can be very valuable and the new Mustangs sell like hot cakes. Through out it’s six generations the Mustang has always kept a basic DNA. That DNA can be seen through out it’s history and we’ve got a set of photos to show that.

Ford hot rod truck racer
Hot rods or more specifically rat rods, if that is what you call them, are huge right now. Some are literally thrown together hunks of junk that form the creators artistic idea of what a rat rod should be. Some are carefully crafted and honed to be the type of sleek machine you’d think of when you hear a Bruce Springsteen song. Both are as cool as the Arctic night.

I think this one falls in the later category. This one looks like it could head off to paint and be one of those show stoppers you see at the big hot rod shows. I couldn’t help but laugh when I over heard someone at the show say “I wonder what color he will paint it?” Of course this one is all natural and it looks stunning.

Porsche 911 lap at Spa. Balls of Steel
What happens when you mix a Porsche 911 with Spa? Awesome, that’s what. For those of you who aren’t fans of road course racing Spa is a legendary track in Belgium. With huge elevation changes, fast, and slow corners it’s a real drivers track. We have some pretty neat in car footage of a 911 tackling the beast and it gets hairy at times but the sites and sounds are so cool.

Hit the jump and enjoy.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend
The unofficial start of summer is here. I am sure you are busy BBQing, driving, racing, hanging out with family, watching racing whatever it is thanks for taking a few seconds to stop by our little slice of the internet. I am going to keep it really short and sweet today because I have a ton of things to do myself and I’m anxious to do them.

The most important thing to remember today and this whole weekend is to be safe. Remember drinking and driving and drinking and boating don’t mix. Everyone is trying to get somewhere just chill, enjoy the ride, and relax. There is no need of getting into a wreck to get some place five minutes quicker. Now I’m not trying to be your mother but I just want you to all come back tomorrow and for every day after to help us celebrate all that is bad ass American cars. So be safe, have fun, and see you next week.
