Ford Thunderbird Wallpaper

Wallpaper Wednesday is upon us and this week we take a look at a little detail on the fin of a Ford Thunderbird. One of the all time classics the Tbrid looks elegant and sporty. I will have more of this prime example of the breed later in the week but in the mean time a simple wallpaper for your viewing pleasure.

As you can see this Thunderbird was sitting in the shade cooling off on what was a scorching hot Saturday afternoon at the Carrollton car show. Below are two sizes for your desktop depending on the size of your monitor.

Carrollton Car Show 2013: Part One

Small town car shows are a bit different then the ones you see in the cities. First off small town car shows are usually for a cause and in the case of Carrollton, Illinois it’s to help keep the public pool going. It’s a noble cause giving youngsters a place to safely beat the heat and for those of you growing up in a small town you know any place for young people to go and enjoy themselves safely is a good thing. So once a years hot rods, muscle cars, and even a few imports gather to help raise some money for a good cause. So I was up, packed and ready to go early Saturday morning to see all just what awaited me at the show.

29-rat-rod

A late arrival to the show but arriving in style was this 29 hot rod. Some will call it a rat rod but I call it ice cold because that’s how cool it is. I will have a full on feature on this complete with tons of photos a bit later in the week.

Sunday Commentary

It’s Sunday and the offices of Infinite Garage have been buzzing recently. With our recent server upgrade, growth, and car show season being in full swing things are absolutely nuts around here. That’s a good thing. With a busy day behind me I thought I’d sit down and do the Sunday Commentary. So what are we looking at today? Well of course we will look ahead to the Carrollton, Illinois car show which I was at this weekend. Expect a couple articles from that and even a feature or two. We will also look back on the week that was and I will do a small rant on show room cars vs hot rods and restored cars.

Chevrole-Camaro-Badget

The Camaro photo above is just a preview of what’s to come this week. The Carrollton show was nice with a nice mix of cars. Everything from a newer Benz to an old rat rod that was looking so perfect I’m not even sure the photos will do it justice. We will get to all that later this week though, for now read on for your Sunday Commentary.
