We can finally say car show season is here as this weekend was the World of Wheels show in Omaha, Nebraska. We’ll get to all that later in the week as I have literally hundreds of pictures to pour through from the show to get the best of the best for you guys. In the mean time we’ll take a look back at the week that was and a sneak peak forward at what promises to be a really busy week ahead of us. Show season is here! Here is just a sneak peak of the WoW show.

F1
We hit on F1 pretty hard this week as the season kicked off. Melbourne provided loads of excitement with qualifying being rained out, then the race having the threat of rain nearly the whole race. The race stayed dry and that allowed the Kimster to take home the win. The Iceman looks on top of his game this year and may be tough to beat. Fernando Alonso came in second but it wasn’t very close. We may do a full debrief early in the week if we get a chance but with tons of other racing going on it might be hard to fit in in. In the mean time Ferrari unvieled a lego F1 car. No not what your thinking, a life sized lego version of their F1 car. Well seeing is believing so here’s a pic.

DE SOTO

Did you catch Wallpaper Wednesday this week? We decided to dig back into the vault from Bonneville last year and provide a wallpaper version of the rat De Soto we featured.
Week ahead

Busy Busy Busy is the word around the IG office. Of course we will have World of Wheels overload for you as the week pours on, but we also have news on the 2013 Trans Am. Trans Am? Yep Trans Am. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what that’s all about but I’ll bet you like it. We’ll also have a recap of the weekends racing action from Sebring and hopefully Bristol as well. Film Friday this week takes a particularly European theme when we take a look at a little Italian car and it’s unique owner.
I’ll have to cut this weeks edition of the Sunday Commentary a little short as I’ve got plenty of work to do. So until next time keep is shiny side up.
