Forza 6 - getting closer

Should be interesting to see what next week brings. Sadly I don't think were going to hear enough and will have to wait for the standard bleed out of information leading to this fall's launch.

I just saw an interview with the bearded one. Also known as The Infamous Dan G.

Lots of info and lots of ups and downs. Here's the bullet points.

Release day Sept 15. 26 environments. Rain and Night. You probably know. They're spreading the hype everywhere. Now comes the answers.

    -Paint and file systems

    Upside
All paints and vinyls are transferable. Also tunes are now transferable.

    Downside
They are doubling down on the file sharing system. Supposedly with some sort of change on the search and usage notes for creators. Fairly vague response, but who knows.

    -Track Physics and Environment

    Upside
There is no sticky dirt. Gone. Not here anymore. Sticky sand has left the building.

    Downside
The corner cutting is to be relieved with exploding tire barriers. You can see one get hit at the end of the E3 teaser video. No word on if one gets popped if a track caution for clean up or if you have to race around them.

    Neutral
Rain and night racing is in. Rain has a downpour option. Downpour option brings track flooding, or not flooding, but pooling water as well as running water. Hydroplaning is possible. So now you would need to know where the new line is to avoid the pools and rivlets.

    -Multiplayer

Up/Down ????? Who knows until we get it
Leagues now are the multiplayer system involved. The game now tracks your pace and how clean you race. More on track griefing, shittier player groups you get placed in. The idea is to place you in groups with players more your speed and clean racing or not. But we would actually have to race in multiplayer rooms.
Will it work as intended, you can only find out after Sept 15.
