The Nissan Skyline is regarded as an all time classic every where in the world. It’s a real shame we didn’t get most of them here, but the new GT-R has certainly atoned for Nissan’s past sins as it is one of the all time greats. Nissan has decided to start telling the story of the Skyline and its humble beginnings – which they are doing with a short video and press release. You can see both below after the jump.

Tech Tuesday : Basic Engine Troubleshooting
Last time I went over the function and parts of a basic old-timey engine. This time it’s about how to find out what is wrong when it’s not running right. Hit the jump and even you too can fix your uncle’s 1969 pedo van down by the river. I can’t do anything about the wall to wall shag carpet though.

Dream-Cicle Ford Hot Rod
Ford Hot Rods aren’t exactly rare these days but that doesn’t mean they aren’t cool. This one in particular has caught my eye at various shows and events. It’s so clean and detailed yet it still gets driven which is something we always love to see.

Cream is the theme for this rod with custom touches everywhere, so hit the jump and lets explore some of those.

BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition
BMW is celebrating its triumphant return to DTM with a new special edition of the M3. The BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition will be very limited with only 54 examples being made. They cost $130,000 here in the states, so dig deep. The car is painted in Frozen Black Metallic, with matte black wheels and BMW racing stripes.

Sunday Commentary week in review
by Jason
As we settle into winter the car world slows down dramatically as we wait for the big auto shows to heat up in January. This of course means some slow time here at Infinite Garage and the chance to do a little bit more of an opinion piece rather than news or show coverage. One thing my friends have told me all along is to put more of my personality and opinion into the site. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing because I have some very strong opinions about all things automotive and I could see myself ticking some people off. Let’s try it though.

Pictured above is an awesome Mustang from our World of Wheels coverage earlier this year. Our own Chris went from editor to journalist over night to get us some sweet coverage from the event. By now you guys are surely used to seeing awesome muscle cars, hot rods, and other customs here on IG. We have plenty more of that to come as we move forward.
Hit the jump for a round of this week in the car world as well as a preview of the upcoming week, and some opinion.
