With Top Gear coming back in a few short weeks it appears they have decided to tackle the question what is the worst car in the world. Of course we answered that question on Thanksgiving. So Top Gear is just a little behind us. Still they will probably put together lots of great cinematography, laughter, and stunts for their show so of course it’s a must see. Hit the jump for the teaser video.

Original 1967 GTO

I have nothing but respect to the GTO it arguably launched the muscle car era. While I’m more of a fan of modified cars there is something special about cars that are kept all original. By having an original car it means you are a custodian of history and there is a very big responsibility that comes with that.

Ford’s 1.0L Ecoboost engine to be in the Fiesta next year

The Ford Fiesta will get the 1.0L Ecoboost engine starting next year. The Fiesta has been a bit hit or miss here in the US. It’s pricey which hurts it but it’s very good which means those who take the plunge get a nice car. The 1.0L Ecoboost is a phenomenal engine making 123hp and 148 torque. I know that doesn’t sound like much to us here on IG and we routinely make fun of cars with those tiny numbers but the reality is as fuel prices soar, supplies wane, and economy becomes more important we are going to have to look to these cars for our daily drivers so we can keep the hot rods and muscle cars for fun. I would much rather see this kind of technology vs hybrid tech to achieve that kind of economy.
