The Toyota Prius is the least stolen car in America. What that tells me is that not even thieves want the most boring car you’ll ever drive. Oh sure the Prius sells well but Big Mac’s do too and they are pretty awful. The National Insurance Crime Bureau whom I’m sure are the life of any party they attend says that only in 606 Priui will be stolen. That’s compared to the industry average of one in 78. That’s a pretty big difference. If you are interested in more on this story hit the jump for the full press release.

2014 Chevrolet Impala priced from $27,535
The 2014 Chevrolet Impala is nearly gauranteed to be a good seller. The outgoing Impala is one of the top selling cars in the country and for good reasons. It’s ok looking, roomy, drives nice, and gets pretty decent economy. We can expect more of the same from the 2014 Impala I’m sure. No, neither the old or new Impala will ever be highly sought after, fun to drive, or any of that good stuff but if you need a midsized car to get you and your family around it they will do the trick. I have to say I guess I haven’t been paying much attention lately but I was slightly shocked at the $27,000+ starting price for the new Impala. Admittedly I’m not exactly in the Impala’s key demographic and I haven’t exactly shopped one ever but I the price seemed like a lot. I guess it’s not, because all cars are more expensive these days. Either way I hope to get a drive in one and report how it feels. If you want more details on the upcoming Impala hit the jump for the press release from the General.

2012 Turkey Award: Dodge Neon

I thought for Thanksgiving we would start a fun tradition. Every year we would name a “Turkey Award” that would go to a car that is just dreadful. This is all in good fun and if you own a car that wins a turkey award don’t get all upset. In fact if you own one you probably think it deserves this award too. So this years “turkey award” goes to…… The Dodge Neon. Of course it does. If you are going to have a turkey award it might as well start with the worst car in the world. So hit the jump for a short profile on the Neon.

Muscle cars doing burnouts and drifting in slow motion

It’s the day before Thanksgiving and the car world is in a bit of a news slump. Basically I could have told you about some new crappy hybrid, some magazine picking it’s best of the year, which consisted of more crappy hybrids or I could post a video of muscle cars power sliding and doing burn outs in slow mo. Kind of a no brainer isn’t it? So here’s some hybrids muscle cars.
