Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo

Lamborghini is one of my all time favorite auto makers because they design cars with a passion and lunacy that no one else has. So when they make a race car you can expect it to be real over the top. That’s where the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo comes in. Say that name three times real fast.

Is Porsche going to make a lessor 918?

When Porsche debuted the 918 Sypder it was heralded as one of the best looking cars in a generation. It brought tons of high tech that had not been done on a super car before and really pushed the envelope.

Word now is that Porsche is seriously thinking of green lighting a new version of the car that would slot in around the same price as an Aventador. The car would likely feature a twin turbo flat six and some of the technology featured on the 918. Look for a concept to debut in 2015 with production possible a year or so later.

An LS2 powered Corvair Wagon

The custom car world is full of amazing and unusual things and just about when you think you have seen it all something like this pops up. White Hall Drag-O-Way Fun Cruise

The fall foilage is turning colors, the weather is getting a bit crisp, and the hills of West Central Illinois are filled with the sound of roaring V8s. It must be time for the White Hall Drag-O-Way Fun Cruise. This season’s cruise started in White Hall, Illinois, headed up to Winchester, then went over to the home of InfiniteGarage.com’s world headquarters in Pittsfield before finally heading over to the Lighthouse on the Mississippi River for a nice lunch. The rain turned a few away but over two dozen cars showed up for the run and they were rewarded with a good time and some improving weather by the end of the day.

Pictured above is one of my all time favorite hot rods. I always try to snap a picture or two of it when it’s out at a how or a cruise. I think you can see why my camera likes it so much. Plenty more goodness after the jump.
