The Aston Martin AM 310

The name sounds like an awful talk radio station but the car is pretty awesome. Aston has never had a problem making something look good. The car will have the same Aston V12 we all know and love and it will likely be tweaked a bit. The car is based on the same platform as the One 77 which has ended production.

Canadian Railroad Strike could hurt US Car Supply

As if the manufacturers need another reason to up the price on new cars now comes news that because of a rail strike in Canada it’s likely that there will be longer wait times for cars in the US. Many companies make cars in Canada in fact almost all major manufactures do. Honda already reports the CR-V supplies have been impacted and Chrysler expects delays soon.

The strike could also effect oil prices as much of Canada’s oil supply moves by train because the pipelines are full. Could be a double wammy for car lovers everywhere. The good news is the Canadian government is expected to step in soon to bring an end to the strike so hopefully eny problems minimal.

McLaren MP4-12C running wild in the Middle East

I suppose proper auto journalist procedure here would be to type up a few paragraphs about why the Middle East is important to McLaren and maybe talk a little about F1 in the Middle East and all that. To be honest that would just be insulting your intelligence. You know why the Middle East is important to anyone. Money, other wise no one would bother going to that God forsaken desert. The whole point of this is to post a video which is pretty well done and it shows the MP4-12C (worst car name ever) going around a race track. It’s a cool video check it out!

Warning fellow drivers of speed traps by flashing your lights is protected under the First Amendment

A Flordia court ruled today that it is lawful to flash your lights to warn other drivers over a speed trap. We all nothing ticks to the police off more then showing them up or helping your fellow motorist and now it’s completely legal! Well it atleast falls under the first amendment.

You see a man named Ryan Kintner in Florida was ticked for flashing his lights at on coming traffic to warn them that police were just down the road. The Circuit Judge ruled that an officer misinterpreted a law making flashing lights that mimicked an emergency vehicle illegal. However this does not apply to flashing your headlamps at traffic to communicate a message with them.

Score one for the motorist!

Subaru Tribeca get’s dropped.

No shocker here, the rather expensive, ugly, and uninspiring Subaru Tribeca will get the ax according to Motor Trend. It’s just a rumor as of now but sales of the car have never been great so it’s no shocker that it’s going away.
