Abu Dhabi GP – F1 2013

Chevy at SEMA: Corvette Stingray, COPO Camaro, SS Jeff Gordon edition

SEMA is here and finally some info on the good stuff is coming in. Last week we showed you a preview of some of the small cars Chevy was bringing to the big show but now we get to see the big fire power. Chevy Corvette Stingray, Camaro, and SS all are there, all with special editions just for SEMA. So of course we are all over it.

Sunday errr Monday Commentary

A day later than normal, it is time for the Sunday Commentary. I guess we should call it the Monday Commentary today. As the leaves reach peak color and the air gets a decided bite to it, we are reminded that fall is here in full force and car show season is over, as everyone puts their babies away for the winter. That does not really stop things here at Infinite Garage, as we make a bit of a transition ourselves, into auto show season. We kick things off with SEMA this week and of course the big winter shows. Where news of new cars will come in fast and furiously.

This winter auto show season promises to be a big one. The new Mustang is being announced in Detroit. We will likely see the release of the new Challenger on the LA platform, which will feature the Hellcat 6.2L supercharged Hemi, making over 540hp. Gonna be a good winter indeed. For now, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Let’s get to the week in review.

V35 Nissan Skyline 300GT Sedan

Hi, Pistolpig, Infinite-Garage’s resident Aussie car tester here, bringing you another car review from down-under. This time, it’s a car that some of our U.S. readers are used to seeing garnished with Infiniti badges. It’s the V35 Nissan Skyline sedan.

These come in 2.5L, 3.0L and 3.5L engine capacities. We tested in 300GT form, which means the mid-range 3.0L variety.

In Japan, this was the 11th generation Skyline and a very controversial one, thanks to a wild departure from previous Skylines in looks, technology and feel. Here are our impressions of that car.
