SEMA has gone from a place for aftermarket goodies and manufactures to a place were the big automakers show off their own in house tuning shops and new concepts. This year Chevy is bringing pulling out all the stops. For now we just get to see the small cars and Impala, however I’m sure soon we will have all the news on the Camaros and Vettes athat are sure to grace the SEMA floor.

Hollywood Hot Rods Custom Mustang for SEMA
Hollywood Hot Rods builds a custom 2014 Ford Mustang convertible with supercar style and performance for SEMA
All bodywork modifications are executed in hand-formed aluminum including the custom lift-off roof
Like a middleweight who decides to challenge a heavyweight in the ring, Hollywood Hot Rods decided to take on the supercars with its 2014 Ford Mustang GT convertible at SEMA 2013. While the classic style and proportions of Mustang say performance even in stock form, the team at Hollywood Hot Rods wanted to create something truly unique with this project car.

“We really wanted to take the customization of this Mustang to the next level,” said Troy Ladd, owner of Hollywood Hot Rods. “Instead of simply adding accessories and a custom paint job, we wanted to really change the car.
“So we decided to redesign some key elements of the car, like the roof and rear section; to create a completely new and bold design that propels Mustang into supercar status while retaining classic Mustang DNA.”

Fall Fun Run
On our Facebook page today I started the day off by saying “today we cruise.” My Sunday morning started early with getting some work done here on Infinite-Garage.com, then doing a little work to the company car so it was cruise ready. I met up with some fellow car guys in my home town and soon we were off to the start point of today’s cruise, some 30 miles away.
I was snapping photos of the cruise all day long, so if you like pictures of cool old cars, well, as luck would have it, that’s what we do here. So you might want to continue reading. Pictured above is one of the local cars I met up with early today. It’s a sweet Chevy II and I thought it was worthy of the feature photo for today’s story.

Sunday Commentary: what is going on around here?
Sunday Commentary week in review
by Jason
So there won’t be much of a week in review this week, as we’ve kind of slacked off a bit with our posting. Ok, we weren’t slacking. We were actually incredibly busy. See, it’s a little known secret that Reno and myself aren’t actually millionaire playboys, but, in fact, just normal guys who happen to run a “really kick ass website.” That is in quotes because that is what I was told recently, at a car show. That makes you feel good. So what’s going on with IG? Well we are plugging away and have a few things in the works. We are quietly putting together an update to the site and not so quietly going around to events and shows taking photos.
Take tomorrow for example. Our good friends at the WHDOW are taking a cruise and I’ll be along. First, I’ll be meeting up with some local car guys to cruise to the cruise start. It will be great. I might even be able to snag a photo or two along the way. That’s what is coming up, but let’s take a look back and talk about where this pokey little website about hot rods and muscle cars has been.
