White Hall Drag O Way 2013 Reunion

It’s here! The best small town show in the country, the White Hall Drag O Way Reunion. A celebration of a now defunct drag strip in a small west central Illinois town. While the drag strip may be gone the memories still remain and a group of racers keep those memories alive by having this show every year. The quality of cars that turn out is excellent. From award winning hot rods and muscle cars, to drivers, and all original classics you’ll find it all here and if you happened to miss the show you’ll find it all here at Infinite Garage.

Sunday Commentary: Long Hot Summer Days

Summer is hanging on tight here in the Midwest but that is not slowing down the car world. Another weekend and another great show for me to attend. We did a couple previews this week of the White Hall Drag O Way Reunion last week and Saturday was finally the big show. That means today is a little bit like the day after Christmas. You have lots of great memories, some new toys, but there is something a bit disappointing about it all when you realize it’s a full year until the next reunion. On the bright said I got loads of great photos of everything from rat rods to new muscle. There will be something for everyone for sure.

How about that awesome pair above? A sweet pro touring style Nova and a Cervini Mustang. Both super cool and prime examples of old and new show cars doing it right. Plenty more from the WHDOW Reunion as the week moves on but in the mean time we better do the week in review so hit the jump for the week that was in photos.

Mclaren P1 approaching production

The Mclaren P1 is going to be one for the ages. The spiritual successor to the legendary Mclaren F1 the P1 promises to be one of the finest hyper cars ever to exists. We have no doubts Mclaren will deliver. Today compliments of Mclaren we have some great photos and a video of this stunning beauty. We really aren’t super car or hyper car people here at IG, but if I won the powerball, maybe one of these would grace my garage.

White Hall Drag O Way Reunion Sept 7

I thought I’d use some photos from last weeks Fifth Friday Cruise in as a reminder that the big White Hall Drag O Way Reunion is this weekend! Sept 7 in White Hall, Illinois is the place to be. There will be a huge variety of cars from hot rods, to muscle cars, and even a few newer offerings. The quality is fantastic. I think it is the best small town car show in the country.

I will be at the show early and probably stay late trying to capture everything. Last year I was able to get some video which I hope to do again. More on the reunion a bit later, but for now let’s take a look at the second part of our Fifth Friday Cruise in coverage.

Tributo Ferrari

Ferrari hosted over 60 owners and admirers of its mythic sports cars on a rally from New York’s Battery Park to Bridgehampton on the East End of Long Island, with the ultimate destination being the Bridgehampton Polo Club to celebrate the season closer and the gathering of these exceptional Ferrari models. The rally began on the southern most tip of Manhattan and took a northern route through the city, Times Square, Central Park South and over the Queensboro Bridge before pointing toward Long Island.
