The quest for the perfect car care products seem never ending and that is because there is always a latest and greatest. Today’s attempt at finding that is from a company I have held in high regard for a very long time, Adam’s. So when a new product is released I try generally take notice and give it a go. Adam’s Total Interior Detailer was no exception. I saw they were offering an introductory kit and I jumped on it to try it out.

Full disclosure, I paid full on retail for Adam’s Total Interior Detailer and I intend to give it the best unbiased review possible. Although I am a long time customer of Adam’s I have no affiliation with them and would not put the reputation of Infinite Garage at risk which myself and my crew have put a huge amount of effort into building. So what follows is an honest unbiased review.

The 911 is legendary and the 911 Turbo is practically other worldly. Amazing performance a timeless design and other then a Corvette a bang for your buck performance that’s tough to beat. So when there is a new 911 Turbo it is a big big deal. Earlier in the week we pondered the implications of the 911 losing it’s manual transmission in favor of the PDK, but now real details emerge on the car.

It has been 40 years since Porsche introduced the 911 Turbo and ever since it’s been tweaking for maximum performance. The new model gets a lot of upgrades with a new all wheel drive system as well as all wheel steering. The aerodynamics have been tweaked to include active aero and the flat six twin turbo engine now belts out 560hp. A longer wheel base, active chassis control, a lighter weight chassis, and the PDK transmission means the Turbo S model will rocket to 60 in 2.9 seconds. That is insanely fast and some seriously rarefied territory. All this for $148,000 for the base turbo and $180,000 for the Turbo S. Ok that’s not cheap, but it’s cheaper then a Ferrari and it’s amazing performance.
A dozen or so pictures and full press release await you after the jump.

The hottest car going right now is the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and now the car will roam Indy as the official pace car of the Indy 500. This will be the 12th Vette to be an Indy 500 pace car. This years pace car features a sweet Laguna Blue paint scheme with some flashers and safety features for track duty.
Of course the Indy pace car will feature the new LT1 small block Chevy V8 that pumps out 450hp. You can hit the jump for the full press release and another photo.

Another weekend and more rain here in the Midwest. We are now going on seven car events canceled due to wet weather this spring. It’s getting old fast. Next weekend though brings the promise of more car gatherings, but a quick check of the forecast also brings the promise of more rain. We will soldier on here though with a healthy dose of hot rods, muscle cars, and all that is news from the world of the car.
Pictured above is a sweet Chevy II from an event I attended last year. I’ve fallen in love with these little cars over the last year. I think they clean up well, and their small size and big engine combo usually will fill any doctors prescription for what ails you. While these aren’t first tier collector cars they certainly are picking up popularity and for good reason.
