Hellcat overview video

By now you surely know about the Hellcat. The most powerful V8 ever produced by Dodge it means serious business. SRT has been doing a great job of kicking out videos about the Hellcat and today we get a bit of an overview. The video shows the features like the new wheels, big brakes, hood with functional air intake, and the cool trick headlamp air intake. All in all there is some cool stuff on the new Hellcat Challenger.

2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat interior customization

Customization is going to be the big thing going forward. More particularly on instrument clusters. Today we get a sneak peak of the Challengers instrument cluster customization. There is some very cool stuff going on here and a lot to fiddle with.

SRT Motorpsorts is bringing sexy back

Back when Vipers ruled the world of racing there was one particular livery that stood out from the pack. Viper red with white racing stripes. A look as timeless as the Viper itself. Since those days racing Vipers have taken many different looks. They looked cool and all but none as cool. as the classic red and white. Plymouth Hemi Cuda sells for 3.5 million at Mecum.

Car auctions are always fun if only to dream. Mecum has been doing high end auctions for a good while now and they do them right. That’s why when a rare 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible comes up for bid chances are you find it at Mecum. That was the case this week when one of the nicest examples of the 19 ever built went up for auction at Mecum Seattle.

Two Shelby GT350 Prototypes meet up

More than three decades after taping a full-page ad ripped from a 1965 car magazine above his bunk on an Alaskan crab boat, Mark Hovander is touring the country this year with the same Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang pictured on that page.

Hovander and his crosstown friend John Atzbach are big fans of the first-generation Shelby Mustang, and between them they own two of the three original prototypes. As Mustang enthusiasts across the country and around the world celebrate 50 years of their favorite pony car, Hovander and Atzbach are bringing their cars to nine different events in 2014, including this weekend’s 40th annual Mid America Ford and Shelby Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
