Full Isle of Man TT Lap
There is almost no race on earth like the Isle of Man TT. Using all public roads (closed off of course) racers take their motorcycles on what amounts to a nearly 20 minute journey. Racers reach speeds of 200 mph on the big straights and fly though small towns in the country side at full trot. It’s quite a site to see.

Thanks to the magic of the internet we have a on board video of a full lap with Michael Dunlap. It’s pretty interesting stuff. Hit the jump and check it out.

Chevy stops sale of the Cruze
Something is rotten in the state of Michigan. We do not normally cover recalls and things of that nature because it really isn’t news. However news came today in the form of an email to dealers to stop sales of certain Chevy Cruze models. This begs the question, what the hell is going on at Chevy?
Of course recently a faulty initiation switch triggered a massive recall of the Chevy Cobalt, HHR, and other models. The switch is blamed for a dozen deaths and Chevy is being questioned about possibly covering it up. I suppose it is possible that the Cruze recall is related but no word if that is true. What is sure, is something is really wrong for them to stop selling the car.
More news as we get it.

1965 Home Made Mustang Funny Car
Confession time. I surf ebay a lot. It is mainly a time waster while I’m waiting in line some where or in a waiting room. Still I probably spend more time there then I should. I like to dream about buying some junker, usually a Mopar, and fixing it up into something magnificent. One of these days when the dust has settled on life I will actually do that. Until then I dream. I wonder if I could ever come up with something like a 1965 Mustang Funny car? Enough about me, let’s look at something pretty unique.
The cool thing about ebay or craigslist is you never know what you are going to find. Like this 1965 home made Mustang funny car. Pictured above in its glory days, today it could use a little TLC.

Corvette Stingray driving school
No doubt the new Corvette Stingray is very track capable. In fact there probably is not a better car for the money to tear up the twisties. Maybe a Miata if you don’t have Stingray money.

The Ron Fellows driving school is known for it’s Vettes and they have developed a program that will teach Stingray owners to get the most out of all the electric witchcraft that comes with the new Stingray. Unfortunately most Corvette owners are content with a Sunday drive in their baby. However these cars are made to drive hard and if blasting up the backroads is a little more then you can handle then maybe the a driving school is just the ticket. You owe it to yourself to get out there and see what all that machinery can do.
