March commeth which means spring must be right around the corner. Of course you can’t tell from the mountains of snow outside the IG Midwest office. Springs is getting close though as I’ve been getting all sorts of emails, texts, and other correspondence about car shows in the area that are coming up. We are now less then a month away from the first cruise in with the White Hall Drag O Way guys. Here’s hoping the weather holds out so there is a big crowd.
With all of that said let’s take a look at the week that was, and the week that might be going forward.
Week in Review
Wallpaper Wednesday seems like a good place to start today as we had a great duo of Porsches from the Reno Historics a few years back. If you missed getting a wallpaper of this cool shot by our own photography pro Reno you can always hit up the article on the historic Porsche duo.

Porsche 356 and Speedster
The week started off great with a look at Tom Ford’s awesome 1967 Dodge Polara. It was a real pleasure to get to cover this car. It had everything we here at Infinite Garage look for, it has been restored, it had a great story, and it gets driven hard. We love that.

Saturday brought us news of the last C6 Corvette rolling off the assembly line at Bowling Green. It’s the end of an era, but the beginning of a new one. It can be easy to forget how significant the C6 Corvette was and I intend to address that in a future article.

VW Rally
The VW Polo R World Rally Championship car is ready to race in Mexico. The 315hp all wheel drive monster is going to tear up the tarmac and dirt starting in Mexico.

Grand Am at Texas
As we speak we are working diligently on a recap of the Grand Am race at the Circut of Americas in Austin, Texas. Here is a sneak peak.

A quick reminder, SEND IN YOUR READERS RIDES! Either email them to us here or post them up on Facebook. We’d love to see them.
One last thing, don’t forget to check out our friends at Autopia for some sweet deals on car care products. Show season is coming right up and you’ll want your car nice and shiny.

That will wrap up this edition of the Sunday Commentary. Until next time keep it shiny side up!
