The custom car world is full of amazing and unusual things and just about when you think you have seen it all something like this pops up. The Corvair wagon was made in 1961 and 1962 only and it is estimated that about 33,000 were produced. That’s hardly rare, but doing some industry type math it is likely that around 5,000 remain today. So they aren’t exactly common either. What is really uncommon is an LS2 powered Corvair.
I first saw this car at the White Hall Drag O Way Reunion. Unfortunately that was such a busy day and great show I did not really get to check the car out. Sunday though I had all the chances I need.
Sadly all good things must come to an end and it was time for everyone to go home.
