There is no doubt the two hottest cars of the year are the Subaru BRZ and Scion FRS. While very similar they are also different in that Subaru offers more standard equipment then it’s Scion counterpart. So far the BRZ’s average sale price has been a shade over $29,000 while the Scion FRS has come in with a sale price of around $25,000. It’s no surprise then that the FRS is flying off the lots quicker then the BRZ. Part of this is because Subaru only plans to sell 6000 BRZs this year while Scion wants to move 20000 FRSs. I doubt either company will have trouble meeting those numbers but Subaru has decided to offer a $400 rebate to try and draw customers in. So if you are in the market for a BRZ this might be the time to get one.
