Last weekend the groundhog saw his shadow so I guess that means spring is coming. It feels like it here in the midwest as temps have been above freezing and the local car washes have been pretty busy. We’ve been busy too with new car news and hunting down some pretty cool feature cars that you’ll see in the next week or so.
Site update
You probably have noticed that we did a bit of an update this week. We are still tweaking on things a bit but it’s coming together nicely. Our own Renowrench took the helm on the refresh and did a bang up job. We are also working on speeding up the site a bit. You may have noticed the front page now only has five posts instead of seven. This means less photos and info to load so hopefully it load quicker now.
Looking Ahead long term.
One thing we know everyone loves are pictures of cool hot rods, muscle cars, and classics. Our long term goal is to move to providing event coverage, features, and profiles of these cars every day. We are going to get there, it’s just going to take a while. In the mean time we are going to provide what we can when we can. With car show season coming up in about six weeks you can expect tons more of photos like this one by Bryce Womeldorf soon.
Of course the IG team will be out in full force at shows in the Midwest and West Coast this year. So look for myself and Reno out and about.

Week in review
I think the coolest piece of news for the week was the launch of the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG 507. The C63 for me is what I call a practical dream car. I dream of having one and who knows someday I might just be able to. It’s got loads of go, with a little flair, and style. I think it’s super cool.
Tech Tuesday saw part 3 of Lord Funkatron’s series on saving you some fuel money. With prices climbing high again it is more important then ever to save some money.
Reader Ride
Every Sunday we try and feature a reader ride. This weeks ride is from Frank Sieber. This color combo is beautiful on the Camaro.
If you are interested in having your ride featured here in the Sunday Commentary shoot us an email using the contact form or post it over on our facebook page.
