All AMG badges are not created equal. Mercedes has done this for the better part of a decade now and it confuses some people. There are AMG cars such as the C-63 AMG and there are AMG packages such as the C-class AMG sports package. So what we are talking about here today is the later. Details are a bit scant but we have some pictures to show you never the less. So hit the jump for more pics and what details we do know.
So what you will get with the C class AMG Sports package is some 18 inch 7 spoke alloys, a flat bottom steering wheel, some special red stitching, and red seat belts. We don’t know yet what else will be with the package but we can speculate based on AMG Sport packages of the past that there will be some suspension tweaking as well.
The regular C class starts around $35,000. Expect AMG sports package to add a few grand to that so this car will likely cost $40,000 before you start ticking all the options. We’ll keep you up to date when we know more.
