While Mustangs are nice, a sophisticated Ford owner would probably prefer a Fairlane convertible. Hit the jump for the wallpaper versions of this unrestored and unmolested classic.
The Fairlane was one of Ford’s mid-sized cars that later morphed into various high performance versions, like the Thunderbolt and Cobra, during the muscle car wars of the Sixties.
If you ask me this convertible, which looks like a ’57, is one of the nicest Fords of the era. Judging from the condition of the paint and trim it looks like this car is pretty original, something you see a lot of during Speed Week at Bonneville.
