Here at Infinite Garage we’re fans of all types of motorsport. Off road racing is one of the biggest tests of both man and machine. High speeds and rough terrain punish cars and drivers. We covered last years inaugural HDRA Fireworks 500 and this year we’re planning on spending some more quality time out in the desert breathing a whole lot of Nevada dust.
Last year, Tony Murray’s Class 1 buggy managed to come home third in class and fourth overall despite using up his rear tires. I don’t know how long he ran on those tires but if I had to guess it was at least half a lap, or about 50 miles.
