Pike County Color Drive Car Show

Today finds us taking a look at the 2012 Pike County Color Drive Car Show in Pleasant Hill, Illinois. Every year in the late fall as the leaves are turning the rural community of Pike County hosts a color drive. All the towns have vendors, booths, and things to see and do. Of course we are particularly interested in the car show. So it the jump for lost more coverage.

Miatas are of course the choice of the budget racer and with good reason. They are inexpensive and tons of fun to drive.

This 1937 Ford truck is awesome, everything is shined to perfection with lots of little details.

You’ve seen this fifth gen Camaro before at the Louisiana Colorfest. I finally had a chance to get a pic without people around so I did.

You gotta love these 06 GT500s. They are real monsters.

I’ll end with this awesome GTX. Someday I’ll see this car when the hood and trunk are closed and get a real awesome shot of it.
