Sebastien Loeb’s Pikes Peak effort continues to progress and today we’ve got a few pictures and and some video of his Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak in full attack mode up the pristine slopes of Mont Ventoux, one of the more famous stages of the Tour de France bicycle race. Hit the jump for the video.
While the video is very impressive the real treat is at the 5:45 mark when Ari Vatanen’s 1989 Pikes Peak winning Peugeot 405 T16 makes an apperance.
Truthfully, I’m a little dissapointed they didn’t stick with the sinister looking black paint scheme that we saw when the car first broke cover.
We’ll see how Loeb does in the mountains of Colorado at the end of June.
