Today we take a look at more photos from the SEMA show. SEMA 2013 had a huge variety of cars for everyone from muscle and hot rods, to imports and luxury. The crowds were huge and the cars shiny, unless of course it was a rat rod. As always we tend to focus on the American side of things but that’s not to say there isn’t an import or two in our coverage.
I thought this excellent hot rod would be a great way to kick off today’s post. At SEMA with enough money you can basically build a hot rod from scratch. From frame and body, to every other thing you’d want some vendor has it. That’s pretty cool seeing as those old original steel bodies are just about all gone. This gives those of us who may want a sweet 32 Ford the chance to still get one without access to an original steel body.
Here’s another example of what you can buy from the vendors at SEMA. This would be a great starting point.
Apparently one engine with a big blower just isn’t enough.
Even tuner cars get the SEMA treatment. Hot hatches are all the rage in Europe but it seems they just haven’t quite taken off here just yet.
This Scion FRS gets the wide body treatment. Those fender flares are huge!
Gulf livaried Ford.
The International Scout was never hugely popular but it has found new life on the show car circuit. I think they look great all fixed up.
If you have expensive tastes this was the aisle for you. There is a lot of money here.
I love blondes. That motto in the background is perfect.
Rat rods are the hottest thing going, except maybe that blonde above.
Here’s a little bit better look of the whole car.
Well that wraps up part two from SEMA. I will probably try and do more a bit later, but with the LA Autoshow coming up next week we may be crunched for time.
