I know it’s been a few days since I’ve done an update but the good news is there are lots of cool things coming up that means photos for you to look at. Like this.
The late summer and early fall are ripe with car shows and cruises and I will try and hit as many as I can. First up is the Got Faith show in Jerseyville, Illinois. It’s a great little show for a really great cause. Feeding the hungry. In fact I can’t think of a more worthy cause for a car show. Steve and the crew are really doing great work and I’ll always do my best to help promote them. I’ll do my best to get to the show this year and get some more pics of the sweet rides.
Next up is the action packed weekend of August 16. Saturday is the day of days. Three car events in one great county in rural Illinois. There will be the Vin Fiz show at Nebo, Illinois, the Hull Picnic in Hull, Illinois and lastly the Pike County Muscle Car Tour. We’ve hit the Hull picnic pretty hard in the past so check out that coverage by clicking on the links in this paragraph.
I’ll be hitting the Pike County Muscle Car Tour that weekend. We will be meeting up at Halpin Auto supply that morning in downtown Pittsfield, Illinois and setting out on a cruise through the greatest county in the land of Lincoln. It all kicks off with a cruise in from 9am to 11am and then the muscle (and a Cobalt) will hit the open road where these awesome cars belong.
