We make fun of the 10 most expensive cars to own.

The Huffington Post did an article on the ten most expensive cars to own and here I thought they were just the liberal answer to Faux news. Turns out they do actually have some useful info and not just shouting. So let’s make fun of their auto journalism and just not be serious for once.

10: Nissan GTR: Well it costs 90k and you’ll replace transmissions quicker then you’ll change your oil. Yep that’s gonna get pricey. Not to mention all the hair products you’ll be buying to keep your hair spikey.

9: Range Rover: Sure their base price is insane and it will cost you a fortune in gas with it’s 12mpgs, but let’s be honest it’s all the wiring problems that will get you.

8: BMW Active Hybrid 7 series. At 101k it’s not cheap. Not sure why this is on the list though because HUffpo says the cost after five years of owner ship is 120k. That’s including the price of the car. We can spend more money then that can’t we?

7: Mercedes G550. At 11mpg nuff said. Plus you’ll spend a lot in those awesome German sunglasses. yaaa

6: Lexus 600h. At 119k dollars the only thing funny here is that you paid 119k dollars for a Toyota.

5: Mercedes SL550. Huffpo at this point in the article is doing a pretty shitty job and clearly don’t know a damn thing about cars. To me the expensive part about this is that you bought a base model SL for a small fortune and you know in your company club there are atleast a half dozen 600s and a few AMGs. You’ll feel pretty small the first time you roll up to someone in an SL63 with your measly SL550

4: Mercedes CL550 See a trend here? Yep base model CL, hows your little man syndrome working out for you.

3: Apina B7 BMW. At this point I’m wondering if Huffpo even knows what cars are. Of course an aftermarket hotted up BMW is going to cost alot to own.

2: Audi R8. What everyone but Huffpo calles the economical super car. Ok at 13mpg it’s not exactly a fuel sipper but with Audi being reasonably good at making reliable cars I can’t see this car being horrible to own. Oh sure insurance will kill you but that’s the case with any high end car.

Ok I’m tired of their list. Now the real list of cars that are expensive to own. I think you’ll agree that HuffPos list is pretty bad.

Yep our list was WAY more expensive. Huffpo stay out of the automotive world.
