The Subaru WRX has a rally history that is rivaled by few. It’s street going cars have garnered a fervent following with their aggressive looks, turbo engines, and general good fun to drive. Not to mention being four doors and sometimes hatch backs they are quite practical. So then it comes as no surprise that the launch of the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is a bit of a big deal.

For 2015 the WRX STI is all new featuring a reworked stiffer, suspension, some tweaks to the boxer engine, and a newer nicer interior. That boxer engine remains a 2.5L with a turbo and Dual Active Valve Control System or DAVCS. The engine revs to 6000 RPMS and makes 305hp and 290 lb-ft of torque.

The AWD system gives the driver control of three modes which tweaks the diffs and other computer gizmos to give the driving experience the driver wants for what ever road conditions await.
