Another week of winter in the books and finally we got a taste of spring. I even took some time to detail the IG company car. Although it’s already dirty again thanks to snow melt and sloppy roads. Still it was great to get outside. We had a busy week here at IG too. I woke up to see that Reno has converted the back end to a newer version of the software we use. This means all the tools are in place for the big site update coming soon. We’ve settle on a design and now we just have to make it happen. You are going to love it. The design is clean, easy to read, mobile friendly, and puts a load of information in front of your eyes.

In other news my calender is filling up with car events to attend when the weather gets warmer. Sadly it looks like most of the events will not kick off until late April this year. That’s the way it goes in the Midwest though. However the good news is I have already found a few new events to go to so hopefully that means cars we’ve never seen before, new friends, and lots more photos and maybe some video for you to see.
2015 Dodge Challenger
We kicked off the week with some rumors and speculation on the 2015 Dodge Challenger. It looks like Dodge and the SRT crew are getting ready to release what amounts to a bit of a refresh for the Challenger. Being a Mopar nut I am pretty excited to see some info getting leaked and know that we will have more details soon.

The Mclaren 650S
Mclaren is well known for it’s super and hyper cars. They are generally things of beauty made up of high tech composites and all the go fast goods you can throw at it. The new Mclaren 650S is no exception.

The Ford Econoline and Chevy Corvair Rampside are two trucks that probably have been forgotten by many. However with their cab forward design they are pretty cool rides and it’s no surprise to see them occasionally show up at a car show here and there. Many years ago a video was made by Chevy pitting the two together. It’s a fun watch.

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge
The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept debuted to high praise. That made Infiniti want to take it a step further. Still no word on whether the car will make it to production but we have video and photos of the car in action.

Chevy SS catches fire
Despite being a bit spendy we like the new Chevy SS. A Corvette in a four door body. What’s not to like? Well one caught fire this week at Daytona. It’s not the cars fault but rather all the extra safety equipment it has to have to be a pace car. Still we have some entertaining video.

Slow mo racing
A facebook commenter once said “sitting on the couch looks cool in slow mo.” I’m not sure about that but I do know racing looks cool in slow mo. So we wrapped up the week with some slow mo video of some of the best motor sports out there.

That’s going to wrap up the week here at IG.
