Future Classic: The GMC Syclone
We aren’t exactly truck people here at Infinite Garage unless of course it’s a 57 Chevy truck or maybe a classic Ford. However by the 1990s trucks were pretty damn boring. Except for one, the GMC Syclone. A special edition hotted up truck based on the GMC Sonoma. With the soul of a muscle car the Syclone was limited production, high performance, and that makes it a future classic.
So let’s hit the jump and take a look at what makes the GMC Syclone a Future Classic.

Aston Martin celebrates 100 years
Earlier this summer Aston Martin celebrated 100 years of being Aston Martin. Of course Aston Martin has been bought and sold more than a used Miata but still at the heart of it all is something pretty cool. There is no doubt Astons are pretty and the modern Aston V8 sounds pretty great too. However in the day of mass production they are not exactly rare or special. Turning 100 is special though and Aston Martin has decided that three new concepts are in order for their birthday.

Along with the V12-Vantage S pictured above is a completely cool CC100 Speedster Concept and a Vanquish Volante. Both of which we have pictures and details just after the jump.

SEMA 2013 Part Two
Today we take a look at more photos from the SEMA show. SEMA 2013 had a huge variety of cars for everyone from muscle and hot rods, to imports and luxury. The crowds were huge and the cars shiny, unless of course it was a rat rod. As always we tend to focus on the American side of things but that’s not to say there isn’t an import or two in our coverage.
I thought this excellent hot rod would be a great way to kick off today’s post. At SEMA with enough money you can basically build a hot rod from scratch. From frame and body, to every other thing you’d want some vendor has it. That’s pretty cool seeing as those old original steel bodies are just about all gone. This gives those of us who may want a sweet 32 Ford the chance to still get one without access to an original steel body.

Sunday Commentary: Muscle cars. Keep them original or make them what you want?
Sunday Commentary week in review
by Jason
Hey look! It’s Sunday. Hopefully your weekend has been good and you got to have some fun. Thanks to the extended weekend for Veterans day, you’ll hopefully still have plenty more fun ahead of you. Speaking of Veterans day, I’d be wrong if I didn’t take the time to say thank you to all those Veterans out there. I’ve been fortunate enough to speak to a lot of Vets in my travels to car shows and one thing we always share is our love for cool old cars.
That Vette above has been a feature car before, but I don’t really have anything better for Veterans day weekend, so I thought it was appropriate. This week, we will, of course, do the week in review, I will complain about Facebook, and discuss if keep an old car original is what you should do. All that and more wrapped in photo after the jump.
