We return to the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River today for part two of the Loafers car club car show. The nice big turn out allowed me to snap loads of photos and as it turns out I got quite a few decent ones. Enough talk and on with the photos.
The patina look is hot right now. I’d say this one is just about aged to perfection.
Chevy has been makiing trucks for ever. Many of them went to work and are probably gone forever. However there are still many great examples of what probably roamed the farm decades ago.
Sometimes you just need to take the top off of your sweet GTO. I imagine this car sounds great from the driver seat cruising down the highway.
More and more of these are popping up at shows as the tier one muscle cars are getting all gobbled up. This is proof you don’t have to go out and get a Camaro or Cuda to have a great looking custom classic.
Ford’s Thunderbird has stood the test of time as one of the all time greats.
Gassers will always have a special place in my heart. Taking modifying to the extreme all in the name of speed.
That GTO above had a nice and clean engine bay. Some serious firepower under there too.
Like a Boss. The new Boss 302 is sure to be a hot collectors item in the future.
The new Dodge Challenger makes a great place to start some custom work. With one of the best sounding engines made today the heart of the muscle car surely lives on in it. You might remember this one from the Barry Apple Festival last year.
These new edge Mustangs always looked good to me. This one could have just rolled off the show room floor. Hard to believe it’s a decade old.
This post was probably a bit too void of hot rods so a sweet 32 hi boy is a great way to finish it out. I’ll bet this was a blast to drive to the show.
More to come later in the week!
