Favorite cars of 2013

It’s Thursday, it’s the middle of winter and I’m dying for some car action. Sadly there is none to be found around the frozen wasteland that is West Central Illinois where the Infinite Garage HQ is located. I thought maybe today would be a good time to look back at my favorite cars I photographed in 2013. That means going back through hundreds of photos to find just the right ones for this post.

My love affair with Mopar and the new Challenger is pretty well documented here on IG. Often times it’s loathed by you Chevy and Ford guys out there but that’s ok. I’m writing the articles so I can show all the Mopar I want. haha. Don’t worry, I’ve got plenty of love for you other guys in this article too.

That Challenger above I spotted at the Barry Apple Festival this year. I am pretty sure the owner went through the Mopar catalog and checked all the boxes. The results are a pretty darn good looking Challenger.

Next up on my list would be this silver pair of beauties at the White Hall Drag O Way Reunion. The Cervini Mustang was highly custom and the Nova looked bad ass with the pro touring treatment.

I will go with another Ford here, of course a Mustang. I can’t quite put my finger on just why I like this one except for it’s really cleanly done. This one was from our coverage of the Loafer’s Car Club show in Hannibal, Missouri.

The next pair come from Wentzville Cruise Night. It was my first time attending this event and I really hope I can make it back this year. There were so many good cars packed in so tightly it was tough to get some good shots. Ultimately I ended up standing in the middle of the road to avoid the crowds. I highly recommend it.

This truck I saw at one of the Fifth Friday Cruise Ins with the White Hall Drag O Way crew. They always have a nice get together and you just never know what will show up.

This awesome Sedan was also from the Barry Apple Festival Car Show. It was absolutely wicked looking.

I will wrap this one up with a shot from the Fall Fun Run. I just like this shot because it reminds me of a nice Fall day when a whole bunch of car guys got together and went for a cruise. As much as I love a good car show, I love a good car cruise better. Cars are made to drive and that’s what everyone did on this day.

Hopefully this short little post warms your Thursday up. If you are some place where car season is year round I am jealous. However looking back at these photos it reminds me that car season is just a couple months away and I’ll be back out doing what I love the most. Shooting cool cars.
