For sale articles aren’t normally our thing but occasionally something really cool and really special comes along. That’s the case with this Plymouth Savoy. You may be thinking what is so special about the Plymouth Savoy? If this were just any Savoy it would be a neat old car and nothing would be terribly special about it. However this is not just any Savoy. This is a Super Stock Savoy and the first one shipped with a manual transmission.
Super Stock means big go fast goodies. The “Max Wedge” came full on race ready with:
* Forged aluminum high dome pistons
* New head with larger diameter intake and exhaust valves and a racing valvetrain
* .500 lift cam with 300 degrees of duration and mechanical lifters
* Aluminum short ram/cross ram intake system with two carter AFB 525 cfm four barrel carburetors

NHRA Drag Racing 2014 Schedule with video!
With the Super Bowl in the rear view mirror it’s time to turn our attention to warmer weather sports and that all starts with NHRA drag racing. The fastest sport on four wheels features high octane, high volume excitement that’s pretty hard to beat. You can almost smell the Nitro in the air right now.
The folks over at the NHRA have put together a cool video called “Let’s Go!” to get us all pumped up for the season. I’ve also included a schedule of this years events so you know when and where all the action happens.

The Best Super Bowl Car Commericals
Commercials are sometimes as good as the game itself. The game yesterday was probably pretty good depending on who you were rooting for but for us car guys there was a lot of eye candy and fun to be had in the commercials. I’ve put together a list of our favorites with each commercial in video below.
Advertisers pay big money for super bowl time so the pressure is on their advertising agencies to create a memorable commercial. Let’s take a look at the best and let us know how they did.

The Worlds Largest Toy Car Collection
The crew here at Infinite Garage are guilty of collecting miniature. For me it’s toy tractors, although I do have a sweet collection 1970s Mopar Trans Am cars in 1/64 scale though. I’ve heard Reno has a few miniatures as well. They are are a great way to have the things we can not have in full scale. Since I can’t afford Sam Posey’s 1970 Challenger TA in the real world the hot wheels version will have to do. One man in Lebanon has taken his love for miniature cars and gone full on crazy with it. In fact it is certified by the genius book of world records as the largest collection in the world.
The video is spectacular. Not only does he have a huge sum of cars but he also has several dioramas set up to display them. It’s all a bit staggering but very cool. I suggest hitting the jump and checking it out.

Sunday Commentary week in review

It’s game day in America and with everyone settling down with some cold drinks, hot food, and their friends we will take a look back on the week the was here at Infinite Garage. Admittedly we are in the winter doldrums so new content is a bit sparse and we did far more videos then I wanted to this week. I suppose it’s also groundhog day but I have no if that little rodent saw it’s shadow. It doesn’t make any difference here as a parade of winter storms will be rolling through over the next week ruining any thoughts of an early spring.
If you are like me you are probably getting ready to settle in to a day of grazing the food table, football, and beer. So before you get too wrapped up in all the action let’s get the week in review out of the way.
